Delivery and returns

Babystuff & Nursery delivers your orders all over Ireland and Europe, we deliver order, using the following: DPD Classic, An Post Registered Post, UPS. 

Products purchased through this website are delivered in Ireland, and Europe only.

If you are looking to have your order delivered to another country, where Babystuff & Nursery is located, you will be redirected to the local webstore.

Products with the status “Available” at the time of your order. The delay between the processing of the order and date of the first presentation of the courier is specified just beside to orders’ total.

In 2 steps: 

  • The length in delivery, validation of your order + processing of the order + collection of the package(s) by the courier.
  • The length of the delivery of your package(s) by the courier of your choice, conform to the times listed below. You are informed of the time of the delay, once you receive the e-mail “Order Shipped”.

The delays are listed in business days. 

The approximate delivery of your package(s) are 3-7 working days (may very according to products).

You have an access to the tracking of your orders by login in to the Babystuff & Nursery website, under “My account/order tracking”, simply click on the tracking number of your order. The delivery can be made either to your home address or any other address of your choice (may vary according to the country of destination), which is practical, if you’d like to make a gift to someone or receive a delivery at the workplace! 

 If you are not available at the time of the courier’s attempted delivery, a note will be left in your letter box, or you will receive an email. The next step will be to arrange a re-delivery or you can also collect your package(s) at your local courier depot or post office. Do not forget to bring with you a proof of ID, such as ID card or Passport.

Cancellation Policy

Our aim is to package and dispatch the goods within the time specified at the Order Confirmation. If you wish to cancel an order within this time frame please contact us by email from our contact page.

If the goods have not been dispatched then we will cancel your order and refund the invoice value. Confirmation of this refund will be email to you. For orders that have been dispatched please follow our returns policy. If you refuse to accept the delivery we will charge you for the return postage cost to us.

Returning Unwanted Goods

In accordance with the Distance Selling legislation: There is an implied condition in a distance contract that -

(a)      The consumer has a period of 14 working days in which to cancel the distance contract without giving a reason, and,

(b)      If the consumer exercises that right of cancellation, he or she shall not incur any charges or penalties for so doing except the direct cost of returning the goods.

If the consumer exercises his or her right of cancellation in accordance with Regulation , the Babystuff & Nursery shall be obliged to reimburse any sums paid by the consumer without deduction of costs, interest or penalties (other than the direct cost of returning any goods).

The reimbursement referred to in the above paragraph shall be made as soon as possible after the exercise of the right of cancellation by the consumer and, in any event, not later than 30 days after that exercise.

Returning Faulty Goods

If you discover the goods you have purchased to be faulty upon receiving, please contact us at once by email so we can resolve the issue as quickly as possible. All goods sold are covered by the standard manufactures warranty against faulty materials or poor workmanship. The manufactures warranty will not cover damage due to misuse, accidental damage, wear and tear.

Faulty goods must be returned with proof of purchase and returns form. We will endeavour to resolve the issue upon receipt of the faulty goods by either replacing the product with a new or equivalent model or a refund for the original invoice value to your credit card/method of payment.

Returns Step by Step Process:

Inform us that you wish to return the goods and clearly state the type of return in the email i.e. Refund or Faulty. We will send you a returns form by email.

Complete the returns form and print a copy to go along with the returning goods and place inside the returning box.

If at all possible use the original delivery box or obtain a new box (at your own expense). We would ask you not to write, label or tape the retail packaging when returning unwanted purchases. If this happens, it may affect your refund claim.

Make sure to firmly pad the returning goods to avoid damage in transit.

Tape the box securely and clearly mark our return address on the outside of the box. If you are using the original box, please make sure to remove or unmark your delivery address.

Organise shipping for the returning goods and retain a receipt from the courier company as proof of postage, as unfortunately we will not be able to accept responsibility for packages lost in transit.
